The Gospel of Mark: Who do you say I am?
Our plan is to work our way through the entire Gospel of Mark, verse-by-verse, discovering the amazing truths and promises of God's Word.
Jesus asked his disciples, "Who do you say I am?' (Mark 8:20). It is a question that every Christian should be able to answer. We hope you will join us for this message series as we discover how to answer this question from the pages of the Bible.
Fall Grow Groups
It’s hard to believe but fall is just around the corner. In conjunction with the start of school, we are kicking off four Grow Group opportunities. Pre-registration is required so you’ll need to stop by the Information Table in the Lobby to sign up.
Disciple One: Becoming Disciples through Bible Study. In this 34-week Bible study, participants will read over 70% of the Bible. Requirements:Weekly attendance at the small group meeting and daily Bible reading & assignments. Cost: $40.00 for the materials (scholarships available). Meeting Times & Expectation: Tuesday nights, 6:30-9:00pm [starting August 16]. Participants are expected to attend at least 90% of the small group sessions to successfully complete the class. Facilitator: Sue Crater. Deadline for Registration: Sunday, August 7.
Disciple Two: Into the Word Into the World. In this 32-week Bible study, participants will concentrate on and go “deeper” into the books of Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts. Requirements: Successful completion of Disciple One, weekly attendance at the small group meeting, and daily Bible reading & assignments. Cost: $40.00 for the materials (scholarships available). Meeting Times & Expectation: Sunday nights, 6:00-8:30pm [starting August 21] OR Wednesday nights, 6:30-9:00pm [starting August 17]. Participants are expected to attend at least 90% of the small group sessions to successfully complete the class. Facilitator: Pastor George. Deadline for Registration: Sunday, August 7.
Financial Peace University. Dave Ramsey’s life-changing, 13-week class is designed to help persons get out of debt, stay out of debt, and build wealth. Through weekly video sessions and meetings, assignments, and accountability, FPU is designed to change how people think about money.Requirements: weekly attendance at the small group meeting and completion of weekly assignments. Cost: $100.00 for the materials. Meeting & Expectation: Tuesday nights, 7:00-9:00pm [starting August 16]. Participants are expected to attend all 13 classes. Facilitator: Jenny Wasson. Deadline for Registration: Sunday, July 31.
